A. Brief Description of ProjectIn a general view of our whole 2D animation attachment, we had to pick up several basic animation skills and techniques to aid us in our final animation project nearing the end of the course. These techniques were taught to us through exercises and assignments which would then be commented on by our mentor from SP to help us improve on it. In the process, we were given notes and scans on 2D animation for reference and also for better understanding of our course work. A report had to be submitted, which included self research on what digital animation is, its rich history, how it has advanced till today and lastly, how to compare different types of cartoon animations. Our final project required us to form small groups and create our own short animation video lasting between 45 - 60 seconds. However in the animation video, techniques learnt during our one month attachment had to be shown to prove what we have learnt. The requirements for the animation storyline was vague, so as to allow more room for creativity and freedom of expression.B. Results
